“How I found my confidence”
My coaching journey started after I found my once-lost self-confidence.
However, my body’s journey started in my adolescent years as a shy girl, who became aware of her body compared to others around me such as celebrities, models, and anyone considered “beautiful by social standards”. Like many people, I struggled with weight gain, short-term weight loss, self-sabotage, and allowing myself to be negatively impacted for one reason or another. The term yo-yo diet using every method and all the latest weight-loss trends/feds available was what defined me for a long time. The constant short-term success and inevitable failure based on history ultimately had a tremendously negative impact on me as an individual. I was not confident; I was tired of myself!
Every person is different, with individual stories of struggles, traumas, successes, and heartaches. Respect thus must be given to be earned. Respect starts within; hence I needed to first respect myself to find my determination and positive mindset to never look back to failure, but redefine it as a lesson learned, a little bump on the road. This is how I was enlightened to tailor my “bumps” to fit into my journey with the ultimate goal of an indefinite body transformation that I am proud of. 80% correct food types and 20% healthy- correctly applied workout regime equals consistent success. An encouraging, supportive, and drama-free environment to release life’s problems to rejuvenate the positive energy is home with me, with us at RTK. We got your back!
